Thanks for stopping by Handley Baptist Church on the World Wide Web! We hope you'll browse around for a few minutes and then stop by to see us some time. Throughout the month of October, we are calling everyone that we can in order to invite them to our Harvest Sunday on November 9. This will be an entire Sunday morning devoted to you, our guests! We will spend the morning getting to know each other and then sit down for a FREE Bar-be-cue lunch at noon. If you would like to come, there is absolutely no cost or papers to fill out. Just please call the church office to reserve a spot so we know you are coming!
At HBC we don't have a lot of complicated theology, or confusing politics. We are simply a group of people who believe in Jesus and are trying to live out the Great Commandment:
Mark 12:28: One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, "Of all the commandments, which is the most important?"29 "The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. "30" Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' "31" The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."
